I can also usually tell when I am ovulating from a dull pain on one side or the other of my abdomen. Strangely enough tough, the times I have gotten pregnant have not been during months that I could feel that pain! And my cycles have never been very regular. With my last I got pregnant one month after starting my previous period! So don't count on it being exactly 2 weeks after the period. You never know when ovulation could be off, as the discussions in here show.
