Some time ago, I mentioned that my little one was counting, he started counting to 10 now without missing out on 8 & 9. Now I am trying with the alphabet, but this is how he does it A B C 1 2 3 and he continues to 10. What can I do?
Practice makes perfect. You remember the fun you had with numbers? Well now change that over to letters and do it all over again. It sounds very cute when kids do this but it is a battle. My oldest would do the same so I wouldn't worry too much.
I wouldn't worry about it or try to change it. As he/she gets older they wills tart doing it right. My little guy used to count 2,3,4 and always skip one but a few months later and guess what? Now he starts with one when counting.
Just keep singing the alphabet. It'll come. I don't know of a single person who didn't learn the right way sooner or later. Enjoy the cute sayings because they go away far too fast.
I was just wondering if all of this is normal, he is singing the ABC now, he misses out quite a bit of the letters, then I hear him at the end of the song "now I know my ABC", he then cheers himself. , he's funny.
Anytime my girl sees someone with a shirt on with letters and they are holding her, she goes EEEEEEEE. I guess she is slowly learning her letters but E seems to be her favorite one right now.
