While I was pregnant, I ate my meals in small portions at a time, so I did not eat more than I normally would, however when I started breastfeeding, I became ravenous, I just couldn't get enough food. What was your experience like?

I ate more or less the same when I was pregnant and when I nursed as sometimes I was more active than at other times so my body required different levels of energy at different times.
