Baby Food

What do you do for baby food when your baby starts to eat regular food? Do you make your own? Has anyone ever tried one of the manual, portable baby food grinders, and if so, do they work?

I made my own. When we were first starting with solids, I cooked the different vegetables, pureed them and put them in ice cube trays. It was the perfect serving size and when I needed to feed the baby, all I had to do was pop one into a desert dish, set it in boiling water and wait until it was thawed and warm.
