Try Craigslist or second hand stores. I personally sell a lot of my girls stuff once they grow out of it on Cragislist. You can get some very good deals. I bought my girls a little tikes climber with slide for $25 dollars (it would have cost me at least $100 at Toys R Us), and its in great shape. You have to be weary and make sure you see pictures first. I always bring my husband because I do not feel comforatable going to some strangers house to look at something. I do the sazme when people come to buy stuff. I make sure he is there. I have also bought jeans for my girls. They hold up well and little ones tend to grow out of clothes before the wear out. I am very picky but I have found great deals. I also look for sales at the stores I like. I always bring my coupons for Gymboree (in parenting magazine each month, 20% off entire puchase, it adds up). I also look at clearence racks at Nordstrom and Janie and Jack. I never pay full price for my girls clothes if I can help it.
