We have to rock my 8 month old to sleep before giving her formula. My husband and I don't feel she is in deep sleep because her eyes are slightly open and when she is full she refuses to take the bottle by herself and puts her thumb and sleeps. She is taking solids and water while awake, however she will gag when formula is offered to her while awake. We are not sure if this is normal for babies and is this going to cause future development or other problems? Please advice..
