Did you find that your babies were very active in the womb? My son was very mellow in the womb, but since he was born he's been high needs, and now he is a little trouble maker. My daughter was active in the womb, but fairly laid back.

Just wondering if it's an old wive's tale?

Both of my girls were very mellow in the womb, and for the most part were pretty mellow kids, until about 2.5 years . Anyway, my son was very active, but unfortunately was born still, so I don't know how active he would have been after birth. This baby is like a little tornado in there. I don't know if I've just gotten more sensitive every pregnancy, or if I'm really in for it with this one. I swear, she doesn't sleep. I was up all night because of her kicking last nigh.

Mine was very active in the womb, and it felt sometimes like I was about to birth an Alien-John Hurt style.

And that has remained the same ever since.

Mine proved to have followed through, he was active while he was in my tummy, especially at meals, which I knowis the norm, now he is extremely hyperactive.

I find that most stay fairly the same before and after birth. Which is only a problem if you're not a similar personality yourself. Sometimes they seem to calm down after birth which is a blessing as well.

It may be an old wives' tale but those generally have a nugget of truth. Anecdotally, it seems that crazy fetuses make crazy babies, LOL! Doesn't mean they'll drive YOU crazy, but they may be more active as children.

Woohoo! I've got a fun road ahead of me then!! My little one is VERY active in the womb. He's always moving from the time I get out of bed in the mornings until I lay down at night. Surprisingly enough, he doesn't wake me at night so I'm not sure if he's sleeping or just not moving to where I can feel it. But he's a very active little guy so far!

I really hope mine is less active outside the womb than inside. This little one hasn't stopped since the first kick. It's worse at night, when I'm trying to sleep. I love the feeling though. It's indescribable.

I had an active fetus, he was forever moving around. And yes, it followed with a hyperactive little boy, who is always running, climbing, jumping off furniture etc.
