Does anyone here have an adopted child? We thought about adoption before deciding to go with a surrogate, but we may still adopt a child later on. I know there's a wait of about a year before adopting, is there any way of getting it through sooner? Any information I can get would be helpful. I'd love to hear from someone who had actually been through the adoption process.

My uncle was adopted. I didn't find out until a couple years ago, and it never phased me. It is amazing to know.
