When can I expect to hear the baby's heart beat?

Most sites on line will tell you that "After the 9th or 10th week after your last menstrual period, you might be able to hear your baby's heartbeat", both times I was pregnant I knew during week 5, and by my second doctors visit I was able to usually hear (assume about 2/3rd month). :)
