Has anyone ever tried the atkins diet? My daughter said the severe restriction on her carbohydrate intake while she was pregnant had an almost instant impact on her weight. She dropped a lot of weight in the last month of her pregnancy. She gained almost 80 pounds during pregnancy.

I'm thinking of trying it since it's a carb restriction, but with white meat, not all the red meat it says I can eat!
