Any practicers? We coslept, breastfed, I never let him cry, he was held almost constantly. It could be very tiring and demanding, but I do personally feel that if you aren't ready to be tired and make that baby the center of your world you aren't ready to be a parent. Not that I was ready to be a parent. Shoot, my son is 3 now, and I'm still not ready... LMAO But if I wasn't prepared to meet his demands, which when you're talking infant are NEEDS because babies can't be spoiled or rationalize manipulation, then I really really REALLY was not only not ready, but personally I'd go with unfit, to be a parent. Being a parent is about learning to stop being selfish and make someone else the most important person. At least that's what I think.

What about you? Do you practice AP? Why or why not?

I did not. My kids learned to deal with their problems by themselves. I don't even know how you can handle that!

I'm not going to be able to do that. I have medical issues to deal with. I won't be any good to a baby if I let myself get sick. So we'll have to get a routine that involved the baby sleeping in a crib in the nursery so mommy can rest too. Also, if the baby is depending on me 24/7, what will he/she do when mommy has to be in the hospital. If I have a child, that child will have many people they can depend on. Not just me.
