My wife's coworker said that she read somewhere that if your baby eats a lot of carrots and orange things, that your child will tint orange. Is this true?

I actually saw something like this, I think there is something called Keratine in it, I believe it is in carrots and sweet potatoes. It can tint a light orange I believe. Don't hold me against it.

That just sounds ridiculous to me. If you feed him to many peas is he going to turn green? Whatever you do... avoid the blueberries. You don't want a baby smurf on your hands.

Ive heard about it, I think it can happen to any one, if they eat a lot of carrots. To much of any thing is bad.

It can happen, but nothing to bad will happen if you stop eating carrots when you notice it. The color will just go away and nothing will come of it.

That sounds absolutely absurd.

Brings whole new meaning to "you are what you eat."

Yep. WE can turn orange if we eat too many carrots.

I know a family that adopted the sweetest baby from Russia. They had to feed her to get her weight up and she was taking on an orange hue. They checked the labels of the baby food and all of them had a bit of carrot.
