ya it was, it was great to see her interact in a new environment

I've got a picture of myself playing in my first snow. My father was a real joker though. He dug a hole in the snow, sat me in the middle, put a carrot in my mouth, small tree branches up the sleeves of my coat....yep, his version of a snow baby.

My relatives in Florida came to Michigan when their little girl was 2. It was the first time she'd ever seen snow. She seemed fascinated with it for a little while, but then she started to cry. I think it was just way to cold for her after being used to such a warm climate. In spite of the fact that she was bundled up like a little eskimo. Just adorable. There are pictures around here somewhere, I'll have to dig those up.

Its great seeing how young children interact with new situations. They always do the most interesting things.
