I was wondering if anyone else had what is called Braxton Hicks contractions. I found them to be quite pleasant . If you don't know what they are ,they are like practice contractions. Your uterus gets very firm and then relaxes.I used to take my fingers and trail them around my stomach during the contractions ,which made them even more intense.You only feel them in your uterus .

I had those contractions. I thought they were the real thing at first but the drs were quick to explain the difference of the way they feel.You never feel these in your back.;)

I had mild BH contractions with my first baby for a whole month. They were almost fun and good practice. However, the last week of my 3rd pregnancy I had strong BH contractions for a week! They hurt and were no fun. When the time finally came, the only difference between the BH and real contractions was the real ones didn't quit until the baby was born!
