I've never heard stupider names in my life than those that some celebrities choose for their children. Take Gweneth Paltrow for example, two kids named Apple and Moses. If you average person named their baby one of those names, their life would be doomed to one of ridicule and harrassment. Do celebrities really feel the need to stand out through their children. Demi Moore is another one... Rumor, Scout, and Tehlulah. Those are just a couple that come to mind right off hand, I'm sure you can think of even more to add to the list.

Julia Roberts named her twins Phinnaeus and Hazel. I guess those are more old than weird though.

not when they get millions of dollars from their parents. My parents could have named me what ever they want if I had a nice fat trust fund.

It's awful. Those children are already going to be under immense scrutiny and pressure simply for being born the son/daugher of ________ and a goofy name like Rumor or Apple is going to make it that much worse.

Many parents have given bad names to children. Almost any name can be made fun of. I don't think of the names as different, I think of them as unique.

If the kid really hates the name they can just have it changed. Also most people with different names say they dont like it as a child but they like it more as they get older.

I can't imagine liking the name Tehlulah, no matter how old you get. Apple is just kinda cutesy (and easy to make fun of). Maybe they should have made that her middle name and made her first name Candy. :p

Boy! Are you are missing the one celebrity that named his children weirdest names in history. Anyone remember Frank Zappa?

The name of his kids are....Moon Unit, Ahmet, Diva and Dweezil. This is a story that I found on the net for the reasons that he named the kids those names.

"Moon, Dweezil, Ahmet, Diva - Moon is a normal name in many cultures, in Spain it's Luna. Dweezil was named after a small stunted toe his mother Gail had. Ahmet is named after Ahmet Ertigan, a big record CEO at the time, Diva was the loudest and highest pitched baby."

How about Nic Cage naming his baby after a comic book superhero: Kal-el (Superman). Barbara Hershey and David Carradine named their son Free. Penn Jillette of Penn and Teller named his daughter Moxie CrimeFighter.
