Do you set your child in a room and let him watch childrens movies in there by himself? He isn't old enough to watch movies yet, but my neigbor does this sometimes, she checks up on him often however.

My wife gets them all the time. We have a whole bookshelf just for movies (half of them are for the children). They aren't even that old, but there are so many.

As long as you've watched the movie at least one time yourself to make sure there is no objectionable content. And, of course, you can't just leave the child there alone, you need to check on him every few minutes. It's not a bad idea to put the baby monitor in there with him too.

I don't see a problem with this. Like Lily says, as long as you know the content of the movie and you check on the child, what's the harm?

We had lots of Disney Movies. As I said, Snow White was her favorite. Her favorite Non-Snow-White movie was the Fox and the Hound.
