We all know only too well how tight the finances can be around Christmas time, but it's also the time of year for presents! You may get a few yourself, and you can better believe that you will be expected to give some as well! What do you do to keep the kids, other family, and friends all happy at once? After all, it's not like we are all made of gold or something!

I think the best thing for persons to do is to save towards it and purchase some of the items they want before so they are not in debt for the new year.
We save money during the year as well as purchase items throughout the year that we find that would be *perfect* for someone on our list. :D
It's pretty tight for us usually, so what we do is this. We start buying in September or putting money away for the presents. We also don't buy for anyone much besides our kids. Maybe a present for mine and my husband's parents. But not for our sibling's kids because there are so many nephews and nieces on both sides of our family now that it would be too expensive.
