over the past few months i've noticed my son loves to play with common house hold items more than his fancy store bought stuff. For example he loves this one cup and will just play with that for a long time.

any one else's child have a simalar toy?

After my son put down his bottle his favorite toy after that was a ninetendo game controller...lol

My son loves balls. They are good and cheap. He keeps on going for hours with them.

My kids liked boxes. If it was a big enough box, they'd climb inside. And if we bought a new appliance or something big, they were convinced that the only reason we got it was so they could play in the new "house". When they were really small, they loved anything in the kitchen. I used to keep one cupboard that they could open and I'd store stuff in there that they could play with and not get hurt. Anything light plastic without sharp corners. They played with a lot of tupperware.

My children loved playing with balls. They used to play kickball all the time.
