Has anyone heard of this illness before? It's a kind of itchy, scaley rash babies get on their scalp. My cousin's baby has it, and I had never heard of it until she was telling me about it. The doctor told her to just put baby oil on it and leave it there for a few minutes then just wipe it off with a washcloth.

My aunt told me that my cousin had it, from what I remember from my aunt, the little girl ended up with extra oil in her hair, and it just stays like that for a couple of months then goes away. You can try to shampoo every other day to help out, and also comb more than normal. :)

My little guy had cradle cap, and I am a horrible picker at things like that. He tolerated it very well, but oil and stuff did not just wipe it off. Nothing like that did anything but make a horrible mess. lol

My daughter had cradlecap. I made sure to get it all off using oil, comb, and rag. It is such horrible nasty looking stuff.
