My 3 year old has just started having lots of fears lately. She's now afraid of the dark, afraid of shadows, afraid of driving over bridges, and afraid of getting sucked down the bathtub drain (thanks to 4 year old sister). What can I do to help her? They don't watch much tv, so it's not like she's getting ideas from there. I just don't know what to do.

I had a lot of those same fears as a child, strangely enough!

Sadly, it took me years to begin overcoming them.

Maybe somebody else has some better advice for you, but I think it's just something she may have to outgrow on her own.

Sorry, but I hope you working something out.
