We are going through a teething period again right now, and I seem to be the teething toy. My baby has taken to kind of clamping down and munching almost, definitely way more pressure than is acceptable! How did you deal with this kind of thing?

This is going to sound a bit cruel, but tap your baby gently on the side of the mouth and say "no" in a stern voice each time the bite comes. They will get the picture. Sometimes, too, you have to put your finger inside their mouth to break the suction. Again, say no in a firm voice.

Sounds like the bite inhibition you use with puppies. I was always taught to break the suction. Its definitely an issue as they get older and start getting teeth. Fortunately I was never the teething toy for mine.

I would just break the latch, wait a second, then relatch again. A few tries of not getting any milk and they learned. I was lucky with my son, though. He didn't get any teeth until 11 months!

Luckily for me my son didn't start teething until after he was weaned, he was weaned a little early due to my work circumstances. He bit me after though. I gave him a firm "no" which seem to work.
