My friend has just had her third child. Before her second child was the baby and was spoiled beyond belief. She's not the greatest parent and has been divorced from her husband for some time before she got pregnant with the third so she really hasn't addressed the jealousy her second has for anytime the first child gets attention. I'm worried that now with the new baby being here she'll be even worse. The baby's father is not part of the picture so its once again p to her to do all the parenting, or not as the case seems to be. The first two were born 5 years apart but only a week apart based on birthday. Every time their birthdays come around and she tries to have separate parties the second child throws a fit while her first opens presents or gets attention. Any ideas/suggestions on what she can do to work with her second child before she starts taking it out on the baby? She's a tomboy and I'd hate for her to start pushing or hitting the baby out of anger.
