My husband was a little woozie when we had our first so that was always interesting to look back at now and wonder if he will be the same way when this bundle is born. Any good stories on this from others?

My husband was great and definitely not woozie at all. But I look forward to hearing some stories from others as I have heard of husbands who have fainted and had to be hospitalized as well.

And here I thought that was all just hollywood dramatization of birth. :D My husband was definitely NOT woozy. He caught our first baby. :) I caught the second.

If I might say so myself, I was a champ in there, helping out as much as I could for all my kids births. Another of my buddies was there busy video-taping as his way directed the production. Some other mates of mine at the office swear they could never set foot in the delivery room.

My goodness, catching babies?! I never thought of that one for sure. I don't plan to catch this one at all, thats what I am paying the doctors for. ;)

Hahaha this is funny, but so true. I didn't want my husband in with me at all... But he was fine with it. Maybe helps that he is a doctor :)

Yet its annoying having a doctor as a husband because you just can't do anything right. He apparently knows ten times more than me and he wasn't even having the child *sigh* lol

My husband was great. He grew up on a farm so the sight of a birth was second nature to him. No queasiness or anything. I did hear a crack in his voice though, right after each birth. This is a man who never cries too.

My husband didn't get woozy or faint but he didn't watch the baby coming out either. He stayed up close to my head, holding my hand and making sure his eyes stayed on me! He didn't even want to be in there- the sight of blood and needles does make him queesy but I really needed him there.

Sadly my husband wasn't with me for my delivery, my mom and my good friends were there for me though. He swore he would have fainted anyway, I am not sure he could handle it.
