I never wanted to know what I was having when I was pregnant. It would have taken all the fun out of it for me. I was hoping for a boy, which I got, but was never quite sure. My friend on the other hand was convinced from the day she found out she was pregnant it was a girl. She never even looked at baby boy things, just kept saying " no need, it'll be a girl. We all have girls first in my family." and yes, she did have a girl. A 50/50 chance I guess, but was anyone else similarly convinced before the baby arrived what it'd be? And were you right?!

I didn't find out ahead of time and I was absolutly, positively sure I was having a girl. I had a boy, and he's wonderful!

I am not a girl but it seems like there is really a 50/50 chance of having a baby boy or a baby girl. But does it contribute to the attitude of the mother wanting a specific gender of the baby? There is no proven research about it yet but I do think it has something to do with what the mother really wanted even before conception of the baby.
I always knew I would have a boy before a girl, and thats the way it turned out. I knew since I was about 8 or so. Had my first when I was 22, and my second when I was 26. :)

I don't think there is a science for telling the sex of your baby except by sonagram. But I always had a full uterus with my boys and smaller with my girls cariied low with girls and high with boys. I had 2 boys and 2 girls.
