I was just visiting family and they were shocked to see that my girl who is now almost 1 1/2 year was such a good baby. Okay, so she wasn't that great when it came to new people wanting to be near her and get acquainted as she takes a really long time to open up to new folk, but otherwise even during evil teething she was a doll. I am a little surprised myself, but these people acted like they have never seen a child behave before? Not that my family's children are full of little monsters, but it seems mine did good and no one understood it.

I don't know every time I am in the store lately there are a ton of kids crying, screaming and talking back to their parents and throwing a tantrum so maybe your child is an exception. There seems to be two evil children for every good child I see these days. Makes you grateful if yours behave.

Some children are just mild mannered, and some hold it in until later! My two year old was just the sweetest thing, rarely cried, no tantrums, until she was about 2.25 years... then all h-e-l-l broke loose! :D So you never know!
And crying, screaming, throwing tantrums, and talking back are normal parts of toddlerhood, not bad behavior. If you see them as teaching points, and are compassionate and consistent and patient, you and your toddler will get through them.
