I have never heard of this, how long have they been doing this?

I feel the same as donor sperm. It is saying as the mother is not fit enough to bear children.

I would do it if a family member or really close friend would be the egg donor. I wouldn't want a stranger's egg. But I've got a bizillion cousins who, I'm sure, would do this favor for me if I asked them.
