How about what not to expect between one childbirth and another or pregnancy for that matter. It seems like when you wait for awhile you tend to forget certain things that happen during pregnancy.

Which is probably just as well, or we'd never repeat the experience!

Of course, we forget a lot of stuff which happens to us and our bodies each time we experience pregnancy. Rearing our young, we don't have time to dwell on the things we went through during pregnancy.

I may forget many things, but I will never forget two things. The wonderful elation at feeling my babies move and kick in the womb and then, just after their births, the looking into their eyes moments afterwards.

Just amazing. :)

I have only had my one child, but my mother told me when she had my sister she had forgotten so much!

However she was pleasantly surprised by the difference there was in pain. It didn't seem as terrible as the first time, I guess once you go through it it makes you a stronger woman :)

I was once told that for the first, you don't know, the second, you don't remember, by the time you go for a third, you just don
t care anymore. You know the end is worth it all.

:) That is pretty good there mom!

I'm not really sure myself since I have only had two, but it does seem to make sense. With my mother she had three girls the first was early and she wanted her mom, the second was really early and she just didnt care, by the time I came around being the third she wasnt even worried I was breech she just wanted to get it over with.

Yeah, my two aren't even that far apart (22 months), and I still forgot a lot of stuff! I suppose it's understandable, when you are sleep deprived and everything!

I dunno, I'm an only child and my mom has taken to forgetting my birthday since I went to college. You'd think 13 hours of labor would stick with you, but you'd be mistaken. ;)

I would think child birth is a much more extreme version of pulling off a bandaid or pulling out a tooth. It hurts and its not fun, but once its over you forget until the next time, but its not as hard.
