How dangerous is it to try to hold and carry your toddler while you're pregnant. Knowing how they can sometimes kick and squirm when they're playing or when they're having a tantrum, could the baby get hurt? At what point in your pregnancy should you try to avoid picking up your toddler?

I think it depends on the mom and how far along she is. Because I am "5 4' I had probelms lefting my daughter out of the crib when I was about 6-7 months pregnant. She was all legs. My back was starting to hurt.

Once I had her in my arms, I kind of shifted her to my hip and carried her around. I wouldn't lift things like her stroller or when she was in her infant seat. That I wasn't going to take any chances on.
