I was a home birth. It may seem retro or hippie, but I think it's a charming and lovely thing to do. Would you ever consider having a baby at home?

All of my wives were home births, saved us a little money :D.

We had to do it at the hospital. I didn't feel comfortable bringing my baby son into the world at our home.

I would be scared to death that there would be complications. I want to be in a hospital with lots of doctors and nurses around. I don't want to take any chances. I also want medication... lots of medication. Make me forget the pain! LOL

Do you think homebirth means that the mother is home with no help? Sorry if I'm reading the humor in your posts incorrectly. In a homebirth the doctors, nurses, and equipment come to you. The mother and baby are taken to the hospital if there are complications.

This doesn't even make sense.
