How easy is it to adopt a child? Is the process easy? Or is it filled with paperwork and bureaucracy? Sometimes I feel like I would adopt a child.

I wanted to adopt a little japanese girl, but in australia the process is really hard! I think only four japanese babies were up for adoption a year here, so its really competitive. Its so hard to adopt a little baby and there are so many homeless and orphans they should give more babies to australia... we get nothing! What country are you in?

I cannot imagine it's THAT hard...then again it might well be the same thing here. I'm in the US and maybe the rules vary from state to state. This is my frst attempt to find out.

Twilight, I guess the option is to adopt from in your country as I am sure there are orphans or homeless children there. I hope your dreams materialize though.
