I didn't try to remain pregnant yet, but I hope I'll be able to conceive the moment I put my mind into this. As we all know .. this is just a nice dream :D
Few women are able to conceive as fast as we'd all want. How fast were you into this? Did you remain pregnant soon? Was this a work of many months?

I was one of the blessed ones, we decided we were ready to have a baby after 8 years, and within 2 months, not trying on purpose I became pregnant. I always felt as a teenager that if I fooled around with sex, I would certainly get caught. This kinda confirmed my thoughts.

I too was blessed, used to say that husband and I only had to pass in the hallway and I was pregnant. I do though feel deeply for women that have trouble in this regard.

I got married when I was 16 and never had any children till I was 20 .I never used any birth control either.I had my second 14 years later after using birth control pills for a few years and then an over the counter birth control.

I set out the first time with nothing else on my mind but BABY. I would guess in a month or so I was pregnant, I guess determination really works sometimes. The second took longer though, and stress can be a huge factor.

I agree that stress is a huge factor. I have observed that those who really want to have baby already are not getting pregnant very soon. I am blessed enough that after living together with my hubby in a span of 4 months I get pregnant with my first baby.

We were married for 6 years before our first child. We didn't want to start too soon as we wanted to just have some time for ourselves and be financially ready for children. After 4 years we were ready ...and we tried and tried and it became very stressful, particularly for her. The doctor advised us to just relax and not worry about it. So said, so done - she conceived and we were off and running.:)

Way too fast. We didn't even have sex, we just used the same bar of soap. :(

It took us 3 months of actively trying after 3 months of not being careful. So I count that as 6 months. I was really starting to worry, but then we figured out my luteal phase was too short. So I had to take progesterone suppositories and that is what did it.

I was on the pill 5 years before we decided we were ready to start trying to have kids. When I look back I think I was really naive about getting pregnant. I just thought it would happen right away because that's what was happening to all my friends. After one year of trying, 2 miscarriages, lots of blood work and some medication we finally conceived. Now we are so thankful to have a 2 yr. old son!

Two weeks. I went off the pill, had a period two weeks later, almost as if my body was readjusting, and that was it. I didn't get another period after that. I am very fertile.

We didn't try too hard, after a few years we were ready so we just stopped using protection and within a few months we were pregnant, that was the easy part :D
