My daughter is still nursing, but is a toddler now. I am still taking my prenatal vitamins because of this. How long would you continue taking them?
I have taken them over a year after I stopped either being pregnant or not, they end up helping me more than most others do. Otherwise I need to have some special Rx filled for the things I need most for myself. Check with your doctor to see what he/she has to say.

Certainly check with the doc, my daughters ob/gyn told her as long as she was nursing she wanted her to stay on them..

Indeed, take them as long as you continue nursing. In fact there is no harm in continuing them after that too, if you planned on taking a multivitamin anyway.

Prenatal vitamins can be taken by any woman, for any amount of time. Doctors will often recommend them for women who cannot afford a better multi vit that is specifically for women as they contain all that we need, plus a little calcium to support bone health-which is hugely important to women of all ages.
Stick with them, nursing or not!
PNV are actually recommended for any woman to take who is of child-bearing age, whether or not they are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, or have recently been pregnant. They have a great balance of vitamins, and the amount of folic acid can't be found in other vitamins! In fact, a lot of guys even take them who are interested in body building, etc.
