I used to think I wanted 3 or 4, but now that sounds like an awful lot. I was an only child, but I don't want my child to have to go through that. I'm beginning to think two sounds like a more reasonable number. Then it'll be time to stop.

I'd like at least 4... maybe 5, depending on whether or not we can actually afford them. If we can't comfortable raise 4, then of course I want less. I don't want to deprive my children of anything.

Well. I had wanted 3 children. I was the oldest of 3 and just figured that it seemed that it worked well, but time and other things didn't work out that way. I'm happy that I have a son and a daughter...a matched set.

I had four brothers and sister and I enjoyed being in a big family. Always something going on, but if I needed it i could find some alone time. I have one child right now and both my wife and I would like more kids. just waiting for the right time.

We want 2. We were saying maybe a third, but actually now that Julian is getting older and mpre demanding than he ever was as a baby...I'm gonna be just fine with 2 kiddos ;)

we decided on 3. right now we have 2 children. When the time is right well try for a third.

Right now I have one of each. DH and I have decided that it would be easier to support two than more right now (we have our hands full with work and the normal insanities that children bring), this is his first for me, my second, and he is completely thrilled to "share" my son with me. :) I think it depends on your financial situation along with how big your house is. :D

I have 1 and plans for a tubal. If that sounds like I only want 1 kid, YOUR RIGHT! HAHA

Really it's going to be hard enough putting 1 kid through college, on medical insurance because I never want my son going for YEARS without medical like I did so I'll pay for it til I die unless he can, getting him a car, and stuff.

Add more children and the price of these things grows exponentially. I'm not even interested in my children wanting or lacking something because I have more kids than I can provide it all for. So 1 child it is.

I have three! 2 girls (26 & 23) and one boy (22). My second girl blessed us with a baby boy at the end of May, so now I am a grand mother too. And it has been a long time since I could make any babies, I have 3, its also my lucky number - maybe why I stopped there! ;)
