I'm watching this show on tv about the Ardnt family who have 14 children. There's another show about a family who has 16 kids, I think their last name is Duggar and all the kids names start with a "J". Does anybody here want a huge family like that? I think these twins will be all I can handle. I look forward to their arrival, but I know they'll be a handful.

I doubt i'd ever want to have anymore than 2-3 kids, but who know's? Depends on how financially stable you are, plus how much time you think you'll have for them. Also, attitudes can change over time.
No, two is fine and dandy for me. :) I dont know what I would do with that many kiddos. I remember in HS a friend was the girl of like 16 children born to a family in WV - and she is all "yea most of us were born at home". HAHA
Not in my lifetime, no way, I need the Epidural and the hospital for something like that. ;)

One's fine by me. I always thought I'd like more, but as time passes I lean more towards settling for one instead. The older he gets, the less I want to think about going back to those round the clock feeds! :D

I was just talking this thing with my girlfriend, although we are not planning to have a baby yet, not until marriage. We agreed on having only 2, preferably a boy and a girl.
As for me, I am thinking of the future of the kids even before they are born. Education is always getting expensive and I could imagine the payment for the education with even 10 kids.
Well, I think those families with a lot of kids have this motto in their home: "The More, The Merrier!"

We have 3 and are working on #4. Total we would 4 we think. But if we had more than that would wouldn't be displeased.
I have just one right now, and I am still getting the hang of things!!!

I will just let nature decides how many babies we will have. But I prefer to have 3 kids. Having a lot of children will cut my time to each child into very small amount. Having only one child might spoil him/her because all the time will be given to him.
