I think she was thinking more on the lines of the ones that had to do with pregnancy. Like if a women was carrying high or low. If a women was carrying high it would be a girl. If you were low it would be a boy.

Another one was the sound of the baby's heartbeat. If the baby's heartbeat was above 140 it was a girl. Lower than it was a boy.

It seems as if it could be gaged as highs or lows ,the girls got the top scores and the boys got the bottom scores. Just an observation....lol

Yep, she's right. That's what I was going for. I had heard that if you mix drano with urine that if you could judge by the color (and that was debatable) you could tell what sex the baby was going to be. That is just pure stupid.

I haven't really heard many. I heard one that was something weird like your babys least favorite food will be your favorite during pregnancy. It really isn't a wives tale, but it kind of seems true.
