How do you handle a hyperactive active baby when sick, I am at home today because I am not feeling well and my husband chose to go out anyway while baby was sleeping. I don't know if I will have the energy to manage once he wakes up.

That's the hardest part of being mommy! When you are sick and you're kids aren't, and your partner has to be (or choses to be) away. That is the time that I pull out some snacks, put on a movie, and lay down on the couch. Not much else you can do!

There is not much you can do honestly other than trying to keep baby near you so that you can rest safely whilst they play. Sleep next to the crib and give baby some toys, or if they are older then have them playing on the floor and you lie on the floor.

I really don't know where the stretch comes from when we are sick and needing to tend to ourselves and our children. I sometimes wonder when I know I'm starting to get sick if I just hallucinated the past strength or not as I'm getting older it takes longer to get to me. :D
