I know it's an expensive procedure, but when all else fails and you really want to have a baby, it might be the best hope you have. But you have to be prepared for a multiple birth, because you have higher odds of a multiple birth with In Vitro.
IVF was more than expensive for us. It ate our lifetime fertility benefit for insurance coverage and cost double what the clinic said it would. The promises this prominent doctor made didn't pan out. He was horribly rude and condescending too. Then the procedure didn't work.

That's the bad thing about it. You spend all that money every time you try it, whether it works or not. And then, not only does it leave you devistated... it leaves you broke and devistated. I think IVF is only a viable option for the very wealthy.
Once again I have to agree with you, Lily.
There's so many children up for adoption and need good parents. For myself, I'd adopt.

I think it'd better to adopt, and give a family to children whom have none. But i'm not one to tell others what they should/shouldn't be doing.
