Today I was having a disagreement with my daughter, and she folded her arms just so and scrunched her jaw just so - in such a way that was totally the spitting image of my wife when we argue.

Asking my wife about it, she confirms that my eldest has a lot of my mannerisms as well. Have any other parents noticed eerie similarities of a similar sort?

That's so funny. We haven't really noticed any similar mannerisms but from time to time we hear one child admonishing the other using the same phrases, and in the same tone, we use on them, like "these clothes are not going to walk themselves from here to the laundry basket".

I used to do the same thing when I was a tot. I used to point my finger though and my mom said I looked like I was putting a hex on people. Of course coming from a 3yr old its not very scary but she couldn't figure out where I picked it up since noone in the family did something like that.

I do say the same things when I babysit.
