How many names did you give to your children? A friend of mine has a four name excluding his middle and last name. Michael Allan Jay Spencer was just his first name. I just call him Mike.

Do you know someone who could overpass this number of names?

Parents a little indecisive or what? :D I've know/had a few friends that had a ''total'' of four, like, ''CHRISTOPHER RYAN LAWRENCE SMITH"...that's as long as I've ever heard of (in the US)...Mine just had a total of three, first middle, last...I think you can get kind of silly having all those names...poor kid's gonna be ten before he can spell his own name :eek:...and what about documents etc that need 'full legal name'...again WOW

If you already have a middle name, and are female as well Catholic, during confirmation I think its called, you take a second middle name. Thats the only thing I know of as well, four tops. A friend if mine was debating to have her last girl with four total names or five, but she stuck with four just to be on the safe side.

I know that I was bor with one first, one middle, and one last. By the time I was in kindergarten I had three last names. The one I was born with, the one my mom took back when she got divorced and then the new one when she was remarried. By second grade I legally only had one last name again. Thank Goodness. You know how confusing it is in school with sooooo many names.

I remember the time I was still teaching young kids. One of my colleagues did mention about this. She says that her student has the longest name on the campus. It was about six names in one student. At first, I thought that she is referring to a lot of kids. She told me that the name is just for one kid. I can’t believe it!
