This is a really messy question.I was curious to know if everyone experiences the bloody show before birth. I did with 2 of mine but not the last two. It was what i looked for to know I was dilating.But the last two pregnancies ,I never saw it.What that is ,it is called the mucus plug .It is there to keep germs from entering the cervix.

I have only been pregnant once, and I saw it like 6 days before the baby came, I was actually induced because I was just not dialating fast enough. I started throwing up everything at this stage in my pregnancy because I did not have that problem earlier on.

I had 3 babies in SC and the hospital I went to seemed to be routine to induce labor. Can't recall what the stuff was called they put in the IV.

I had it with both of mine, started about two weeks before they were born. Just stringing out...so gross...

Yes,it is quiet gross ,but seems to be a good sign that labor will begin any time or within a few days.I had it with all of mine and labor began within hours except the last one it was in days.

My show was like some kind of gross looking jelly, I actually laughed when I saw it.

I never noticed the show with any of my 3. Now, that's not ot say I didn't get it. I just didn't notice it. With my last though, I was 4 cm dialated for 2 weeks so it could have gone anytime before that.

I did not have one. I was dilating quite early, but not a whole lot. A week before the birth I was just 1cm dilated.

My guess is that I lost mine properly when my waters broke.
