Not really, technically, a game. But I believe a very important toy in learning development is the mobile. I always thought bright colors were the best choice, but I've heard a lot of positive things about black and white too. Whichever you choose, I think you should have one over the baby's crib.

We made our own mobile's for the babies. We went for the different shapes and colors. We would use toys from the claw machines (the smaller stuffed animals), the sparkly gift bows that you can get in the gift wrap sections of stores, large buttons...just about anything that would catch a baby's eye. We would use the base from an old mobile that rotated and had a wind up music box. I was the crafty, creative parent here, so I was always playing around with something.
