My baby who is normally a healthy eater has been refusing almost everything since the weekend. This morning he threw up his formula while we were heading to work. I took him to the doctor who pronounce him well and said it seem as if it's a little virus. He is still playing.... a lot., so I am not really worried, I just want him to start eating again.

He will, when he is ready. In the meantime I would suggest that you try and keep him hydrated, as little ones don't generally cope well with dehydration.

You need to continue giving him liquids. My son had a similar problem. He was still very active, playing as usual. He refused to eat almost everything unless he is really hungry.

When little ones get sick its always normal for them to eat less, don't you do the same? While it might be hard to sit there and watch him be sick but don't worry he will come around and if its a virus just make sure you don't get it!

Why is this in the pregnancy forum? Obviously if the kid is born, you are no longer pregnant. Please move along. Thanks.

Like others have said, fluids are the most important. You want to make sure that if your baby is not feeling well that they are very hydrated. This should make them feel better. They will eat in time.

My experience has been that after a few days or weeks at the most their appetites will return, sometimes even better than before. You don't need to worry much about it.
