My daughter-in-law Dawn, has 3 children, and is expecting her fourth. The thing about the first 3 is that they were all girls, and were all healthy deliveries (except for the eldest, who broke her collar bone during delivery. She is alright.). Well we recieved news earlier last year that she was pregnant with her 4th child at the age of 31. The baby is to be due in Feburary. We were all excited. About a month or so later, we recieved news that she had bleeding, and was rushed to the hospital. The bleeding stopped and she was sent home. This happened a couple more times. Well around mid-December, she started leaking amniotic fluid, making her believe she was in labor. She was rushed to the hospital by her town (about 25 miles from Kansas City, MO). Then was immedietely rushed to a special hospital in Kansas City. We found out that the baby, which they also found out is a boy, is growing extremely well and that he possibly just punctured the amniotic sac with his toenail. She has been on bed rest since, and has had numerous leakages since then. But as far as we know, mom and baby are healthy. Baby C.J. will be induced on January 25th (mom wants it one day earlier, because all of her children were born on either the 24th or 25th). I am really excited and cannot wait.

What I am basically trying to say, not every pregnancy will be normal. And I hope you all enjoy this story. Once baby C.J. is born, I will try and get pictures :).

Well baby C.J. was born last Thursday. 6 lbs. 7 oz. and a month and a half premature. He is doing great. He is staying in the hospital for a week or two, but I am so happy that he is okay.

6 pounds 7 ounces is a good size for a baby that was a month and half early. I'm glad he's doing okay. Congratulations to you and your family.
