He is darling! I am having so much fun being a brand new mom, and lucky to have some family and friends helping out. I am not working right now, and his father is doing everything, he is a good Daddy - the best I could ask for! And I am lucky to have my mom around, with her having her own three (I am the middle child), I have alot of advice from her, and expect to learn more here as well. :)

Congratulations Kiico! I bet he is just precious! I wish my daughter and son were so grateful for my presence. They are very ungrateful though. What a lucky baby though, to have to loving responsible parents and good for you to be home and raise him!

It is always wonderful to have extra help. With my son in 2002, it was me and his father, I went back to work 6 weeks later, did night shift at a travel company and his father worked there during the days.......no baby sitter, but lack of sleep was sure a toughy! We had some help with sons grandparents every other week, and if it happened to land on a day we were off work, we would sleep the entire day! Enjoy all the help you have now, it helps with extra hands - just wait til that little one starts crawling! :)

congratulations on your little bundle of joy! If you get tired of him, send him straight to me so I can eat him. I love eating babies. And you are SOOO lucky to have help. My son's dad was a GREAT help, for the first week, then not so much. Take the help while it's offered and enjoy that precious baby!

I think that is the male gene at its best! My ex was able to sleep through any time of baby screaming, etc. But it is always fun when they are young, you can tickle them to make them giggle, bite their little feet, and kiss their sweet hands. You have fun with that little one you have there, they grow up SO quick! Trust me, I still think back to my oldest being a little tot, she is now 26. :)
