I was wanting to here your opinion on unusual or uncommon names. I mean for instance Demi, Tylo, and other names such as these.

I like some of them, the ones you mentioned sound nice. But when parents take it to the extreme and start using stupid sounding names, I just don't get it. Gweneth Paltrow immediately comes to mind, naming her children Apple and Moses. And Demi Moore had Rumor, Scout, and Tehlulah. Those names go beyond unique or unusual to just weird in my opinion. But then, they probably wouldn't like names I like either. Its just a matter of taste I suppose.

I've looked into the baby name thing. Different can be a good thing but, I don't think extreme is the way to go when naming the baby.

I have mixed feelings, my name is unusual, to the point where using it online pretty much is out of the question as it makes me way to easy to find. lol

It never gets spelled right, people always comment, and I honestly get very annoyed having to explain things to pretty much everyone I've ever met.

But I like some different names as long as they aren't just crazy.
