This has become one of the select few cartoons my girl watches. I have decided to record them all on the DVR just in case we skip some days, but this is our TV time together and its such a cute cartoon!
You can read more about it on Nick Jr's site (http://www.nickjr.com/shows/ni-hao-kai-lan/kai-lan-about-the-show/ni-hao-kai-lan-about-the-show.jhtml), and its pronounced "Neee How" for those wondering. ;)

We love that show. It's one of the few that seems to really have an educational basis to them. My girl just came over to me when she saw your post saying; it's Kailan! She loves it!
I love the idea of so many things that are educational they cram into this show. Last week we learned colors and this week she is learning little phrases. I think she is remembering more than I am, so I went ahead and set the DVR to record ALL so we have them when shes older too.

These are super cute, especially when the educational value is factored in. I don't have a DVR but I'm hoping they come out on DVD at some point like every other show these days.

I love that show, and my kids do too! The other day the "Friends Make Your Super Happy" song came on and my daughter said "Mom, you make me super happy". So cute!
Kids are fun sometimes. Right now my girl is in jabber mode and has her own language, I swear its mixed in with some chinese though for sure. I think she just likes it when they sing though. :)
My son loves to watch that one too, he also loves Dora, I like that one because he help him to speak out and sing. He also counts along with them. It's fun watching with him.
We watch Dora sometimes too and its all about the singing. Though with both shows I have seen my girl try to mock the language. And for Ni Hao Kai Lan, anytime they say "You make my heart feel super happy" (I think thats what she says), my girl just giggles like shes being tickled. :D
