What did you pick for your nursery theme and why? I'm looking for something different and I just don't know what yet. Give me some new ideas.

There's so much out there. With my babies, I knew that the nursery would get used more than once, so I went for non-gender things like animals. When they got old enough for their own rooms, that's where the fun began.

I just went with a circus theme. The curtains had clowns and balloons, I found crib sheets that had dancing bears in tutu's, holding flowers. My mother, who likes doing plastic canvas projects, made a wall hanging of a lion tamer with lions jumping through the hoops. I found a lamp that had balloons for the base and I just collected circus type stuffed animals.

It's more fun when you can put your own theme. It's just different from all the pre-packaged themes.

I just knew that with my 1st it was going to be a girl, so I went with girly things like ballerinas, dainty flowers. Just girly things. Commercial nursery themes are okay, but they are so impersonal.
