I was lucky enough to have known both of my grandparents, but my grand dad died a couple of days after my brother was born. My sister never knew him. I had lots of stories to tell my brother and sister about pop-pop.

With our children and God willing, they will have both grandparents as well. I know that there are grandparents that have lost their husbands or wives before their children have the first child in the family. It must be hard for the one grandparent to be both to the grandchild. Anyone here have only one grandparent or no grandparents?
