with lavender to be "soothing" are featured in one of the local ads this week. My mom is looking at purchasing them as her belated baby shower gift, but do they do any good and are they really good for a baby's bottom?

Not sure about the bottom area, but lavender has always had a calming effect. I use the baby wash sometimes when I have had a really stressing day and also it helps to clear up my sinuses when they are stuffed up. If they are going for the calm effect I suppose its possible, but wouldn't that work better in a lotion than a wipe? Unless of course its heavily scented. :)
