When I was raising my first baby and going through the stages of foods for her, I loved the fact that there was foods that had no perservative in them. As she got older it was harder to keep her away from them. Grandmom didn't see how a glass of kool-aid was gonna hurt her. I was doing the natural type of juices.

Do you still try to keep you child as perservative free as possible or have you given up and just gone the general consumer route?

In this day and age its very hard to keep an 100% natural diet. I just do the best I can when at home and I understand that a glass of kool aid every now and then is not the worst thing in the world.

my family always gone consumer, probably not that healthy, but hey what you gonna do.

I did my best to make sure my kids had juice instead of soda or kool aid. And my mom was never into kool aid even when I was a kid so I never had to worry about that. I tried to keep a variety of juices on hand, and sometimes I'd mix a few different kinds into a fruit punch. My daughter didn't like grape juice, and my son didn't like apple juice, but if I mixed the two and added a little pineapple juice to the mix they absolutely loved it.
